A one day international seminar organized in December 2017 with Jadavpur University.
In December 2017, Ruby Sain of Jadavpur University and Ferdinando Sardella, affiliated to Bhaktivedanta Research Center, Kolkata and Assistant Professor of Stockholm University collaboratively organized an International Conference on “Vaishnavism:Theoryand Practice.”The con ference explored the history, development, culture, philosophy, sociology, gender perspectives, texts and practices of Vaishnavism in all its varieties and complexities, from literary schools to folk traditions, as well as inviting discussions about the study of Vaishnavism as a scientific, secular subject.
