Conference on Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS)

NEP 2020 and IKS event jointly organized by BRC Pune and Department of Philosophy, SPPU, Pune. It was an insightful exploration of the transformative reforms in the education sector, highlighting their profound implications on Indian knowledge systems.

 

The National Education Policy 2020, with its innovative approach to education in India, aims to revolutionize the existing systems and nurture a holistic and well-rounded approach to learning. One of its significant aspects is the rekindling of Indian knowledge systems, which have an incredibly rich heritage spanning across various disciplines such as Ayurveda, Yoga, Astronomy, and Philosophy, to name a few. This seminar delved into the critical aspects of this policy and the resurgence of Indian knowledge systems, shedding light on its relevance and significance in the contemporary world.
