MoU of Bhaktivedanta Research Center, Pune with Dr. C. V. Raman University, Khandwa
Dr. C.V. Raman University (CVRU) is promoted by AISECT (All Indian Society for Electronics and Computer Technology). AISECT has 23,000 Skill Provider Centres across 29 States and 3 Union Territories, 10 State offices and 30 Regional offices.
AISECT has promoted 7 universities in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh.
CVRU located at Khandwa is one of them. The speciality of this university is location beneath satpuda and Vindhya range and basin of Tapi and Narmada Rivers. The students are mainly coming from rural and tribal background. The vice Chancellor of this university Dr. Arun Joshi visited BRC Pune in the month of Oct 2021 and subsequently Dr. K.N. Dhumal, Dr. Janardan Chitode, Shri. Sanjay Bhosale and Shri. Bhushan Kumar Chaudhari visited CVRU, Khandwa visited in the month of October 2021 and discussed the possibility of interaction between BRC-Pune and CVRU.
A MoU was signed between BRC and CVRU on 16th February 2022. In the presence of Vice Chancellor, registrar and deans of CVRU and BRC-Pune team. The director of the BRC Dr. Sumanta Rudra gave online presentation to all the delegates that comprehensively presented BRC vision, mission, activities, research project, research person connected with BRC.

Following are the main areas focused upon by BRC and CVRU.
- – CVRU, Khandwa is located very close to Sri Omkareshwar (one of the Jyotrlinga, Nabhi Kshetra of Narmada ancient culturally rich city like Ujjain, Indore, Harda etc.
- – Geographically and culturally, there is lots of scope of promoting vision of BRC.
- -CVRU, Khandwa is surrounded by dense forest of satpuda and Vindhya. Culturally this region is known as Nimar which has ancient cultural background. Traditional festival that supports Indian cultural. Interaction can also be taken on these aspects.
- – CVRU Khandwa is ready to allotted dedicated space for the BRC library, initiate research project with BRC and conduct courses designed by BRC. Vice Chancellor Dr. Arun Joshi is very much favourable for BRC vision and mission.
