Dr. CV Raman University Visit Khandwa

Academic Dean Dr J S Chitode and admin Director Shri. Sanjay Bhosale of Bhaktivedanta Research Centre, Pune (BRC) visited Dr C. V. Raman University (CVRU) Khandwa, (Madhya Pradesh) on 26th October 2021.
Vice Chancellor of CVRU Dr. Arun Joshi, along with his delegation discussed the possibility of MoU with BRC. A presentation of various activities of BRC was given and a seminar was conducted by Dr J S Chitode and Shri Sanjay Bhosale for the staff and students of CVRU.
The combined delegation BRC and CVRU also visited nearby tribal areas of Khandwa region to identify various activities that can be organised for the students. CVRU is located in the region where agriculture is the economical foundation, hence it is decided to conduct supportive activities for the benefit of the students from rural areas and economically weaker sections.

BRC and CVRU will also explore the possibilities of research on cultural heritage of Nimar (Khandwa, Khargone & Burhanpur) section of Madhya Pradesh.
CVRU is located beneath Vindhya range (Narmada Basin) in the north and Satpura range (Tapi Basin) at the South. Narmada parikrama is very well known and one of the famous jyotirlinga Sri Omkareshwara is also closely located to CVRU.
This MoU will promote research on such geographic, historic, cultural, spiritual and traditional specialty of the region.
