Dr. Avantika Toley has been performing Naradiya Kirtans since she was 11 years old.She has performed in major places all over India. She completed her MA in Sanskrit from Kavikulaguru Kalidasa Sanskrit University where she stood first and was awarded the Gold Medal. Immediately following that she qualified for the Ph.D. course in Sanskrit Grammar from the prestigious Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha in Tirupati. Her Ph.D. thesis was titled “Grammatical Analysis of the Vana and Virata Parva of the Mahabharata”. While pursuing Ph.D., she qualified the NET exam. As a youngster, she was awarded the Govt. of India’s Human Resources Department’s scholarship for Natya Sangeet.
