Two books will be published as part of this series.
1.Svalikhita Jivani
“Svalikhita Jivani” deals with the life and teachings as enshrined in the autobiography of renowned social reformer Bhaktivinod Thakur (Kedarnath Datta) written in Bengali in the form of a letter to his son
Lalitaprasad Datta. The entire book in Bengali of 203 pages will betranslated to English. The plan is to prepare a list of terminologies, personalities, and places from the autobiography that will be annotated along with appropriate citations and explanations. A glossary with frequently occurring certain Bengali words will be listed with appropriate
meaning and shall be ascertained at the end of the translations. As the Svalikhita Jivani was written in 1896 so a postscript about the last 18 years of Bhaktivinod Thakur’s life after 1896 will also be provided. A visual documentation of his life shall also be presented. A photo-graphic rapporteur shall be designated the task of visiting places connected with Bhaktivinod Thakur’s life to collect pictorial evidence . The book will also include an extensive bibliography of the works by Bhaktivinoda Thakur.
