A Blessing in Disguise for Restoration of Religious Sentiments of Ganga
& Yamuna Rivers and Sustainability

An International Online Conference on 17th May 2020 with Mansi Bharat Gada Degree College of Commerce (Affiliated to University of Mumbai} in association with Jalbiradari, Maharashtra Core Team

Introduction

Amidst Corona (COVID-19} pandemic and nationwide lockdown, this conference was arranged to discuss the positive effect of lockdown on river restoration of Ganga and Yamuna rivers and environ­ mental healing.

Outcome

The audio-video transmission among speakers and participants was well managed with 95 participants. All the speakers presented the importance of saving our rivers. It has brought positive approach, awareness, sensitization among participants to maintain with the current status of rivers and created love, respect and deeper religious connection with nature.
