The Bhaktivedanta Research Center are premium research institutes in India. Its noble aim is to be a leading research center and an academic institute dedicated to preserve, research and disseminate the rich history, philosophy and cultural heritage of India as well as to create awareness and foster cooperation on Indian studies internationally.
Our mission is to facilitate an inclusive academic environment for national and international scholars irrespective of their socio-economic and cultural background. We want to offer them accredited academic programs including PhD, Diploma and Certificate courses, and excel in qualitative research in the diverse fields of aesthetics, culture, history, comparative religion, philosophy and sociology of India.
The Bhaktivedanta Research Center houses a library with a precious collection of rare books, journals, manuscripts, letters and memoirs, encompassing history, philosophy and culture of Medieval and Early Modern Spiritually located at Kolkata. This library has already now proven to be a treasure chest for scholars searching for unique documents.
Since its establishment in 2009, the Bhaktivedanta Research Center has successfully reached out to researchers from India and from abroad to develop and share new works through research, conferences and workshops. We have started various research projects under the guidance of renowned and erudite scholars and professors of national and international repute, and we host public lectures covering numerous subjects on the history, culture and philosophy of India. To provide our valued guests with the best facilities, the center offers high standard amenities such as reading rooms, study tables, computers, internet access, a conference room and comfortable guest rooms.
Our endeavor at the Bhaktivedanta Research Center at Pune is deliberately designed to pay our homage to the prodigious genre of scholasticism which took birth in Maharashtra & India especially during the Middle Ages, and continues to this day. Our dedicated team sincerely strives to highlight and share the treasure of historical and contemporary Maharashtra with the international world, and in this way, we believe, that the Bhaktivedanta Research Center could provide great value not only to Maharashtra and its people, but to all of India and the world.
